Post subject: Apache.Exe Encountered a Problem and Needs to Close

I received the following Windows XP error in FirstSpot Server:

"Apache.Exe has encountered an problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

When I check what the error contains:

szAppName: Apache.Exe

szAppVer: 0.0.0.0

szModName: ApacheCore.dll

szModVer: 0.0.0.0

offset: 0002fbf8

Apparently I am still able to surf freely and shows no ill effects as far as I can see. Is there a fix for this issue?

This happens when one client web request crashes Apache. Usually, it will only crash 1 Apache thread and the FirstSpot operation is still normal.

Nevertheless, please email us at firstspot@patronsoft.com the Apache log (under FirstSpot\www\Apache\logs) for further analysis. Is there any specifc thing you did that will crash Apache? Is this problem reproducible? Or does this happen intermittenly?

The only I did was to login for the first time in a couple of days, (was checking on a previous problem where FS had to be stopped and then restarted).

The problem occurs intermittently from what I can tell. It has happened before when trying to login, but not necessarily when I log in every time.
