Post subject: Paypal, plans & shopping cart

Hi,

We have been all day since this morning trying to do the following without success:

1. We want the users to be able to signup
2. Get directed to the shopping cart and select one of our shopping cart items. Right now they are 1 hour, 3 hour or 24 hour plans.
3. Pay with paypal and get redirected to the login page or better yet to just have internet access.
4. Be able to login and receive the time they paid for the selected item. i.e. if they paid for 1 hour access they should receive 1 hour access.

Now what we are getting is the following:

1. They go to signup page and create their account succesfully
2. They get redirected to the shopping cart
3. They can select their item, 1 hour, 3 hours or 24 hours and get redirected to paypal
4. THey can pay and get redirected to the hotspot login page
5. When they login what the hotspot is giving them always is the plan we selected on the authentication page because we are obligated to use one. In our case we have selected the one that says self signup for after X minutes. This plan has been modified under conditions to suspend to after 3 hours.

So they are not getting the item selected on the shopping cart and always getting the plan of 3 hours.

Iam not sure this has something to do with the communication between Paypal and our server but I have checked that port 5789 is port forward to our server and we do have the txn file. But one thing I noticed is that when the user clicks on transaction history they get in the payment status column a Unknown Yet status. Maybe this is the problem or maybe not.

Please if someone has a similar issue with the latest version, appreciate any help pointing out the problem.

THanks
FC

This problem is due to receiver_email (merchant/seller account) entered is incorrect. It is case sensitive.
