Post subject: Firstspot hangs after 24 hours

Hello everybody,

out Firstspot installation based on Windows 2008 R2 / 64 bit.

Hangs every day after 24 hours.

Is there a timer Smile

Are there other Users with the same problem ?

Will be happy for any kind of help.

Kind Regards

Andi

Did you encounter Windows bluescreen?

Please try one of the following:

- Disable NAT completely under Configuration Manager -> NAT. Note that you need to setup return route in your next-hop router. Refer to chapter 3 (NAT section) of firstspot_guide.pdf for details.

or

- Enable FirstSpot NAT

Yes, please.

But what is your exact symptom? Did you encounter a Windows lockup? Or the client simply cannot ping/nslookup the FirstSpot machine?

When this problem happens again, please issue:

1) ping google.com
2) nslookup google.com

in the client side and post the output here. I suspect there is issue with your backend/ISP DNS server
