Post subject: Outlook Anywhere + Firstspot

After implementing firstspot...

Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTPS) clients are receiving the following messages when connecting.

There is a problem with proxy server's security certificate. The security certificate is not from a trusted certifying authority.

Outlook is unable to connect to the proxy server "servername" Error Code 18

If we bypass firstspot, the Outlook Anywhere clients connect successfully. Is there anything in firstspot configuration that we need to change?

Thanks in advance.

Try to locate the exact https URL Outlook tries to access, and then put it in Exception Free Websites -> Domain Name. Make sure you restart FirstSpot afterwards.

Entered HTTPS URL in the Exception Free Websites and restarted. We no longer receive the certificate error but it keeps prompting users for their passwords and never allow the users to connect to their mailbox.

Please advise.

Make sure user login FirstSpot using the web-based login (captive portal) first.
