Post subject: user 1st login

hello,

i am using today scratch card based authentication, and i am selling these cards to users.

can i know from the logs of the machine when the user 1st preformed login to the system? not when card generated when 1st used the card.

You can take advantage of the field sdate (Account Active Time) indirectly.

You need to go to Configuration Manager -> Users, select Account is active : At the user's first login. In that case the field sdate is the first login time.

Check out chapter 5 of firstspot_guide.pdf for more information about the field sdate.

but how do i extract the data? is it database? can i connect with a client and run a query?

Yes, it is an ODBC table and you can use SQL. See http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1514 for a guideline.
