Post subject: Not updating the usr file with airtime from paypal payments

Hi, the problem is as above - BUT - its happening on all 5 of my sites!

The day before, I changed a setting on the UI customisation page, changing the text in the cart / checkout button. I saved it, but didn't restart the server, becuase it wasnt that urgent a change. That is the only thing that I have done, to all five servers.

So solve it I tried exporting the usr data file, re loaded the orginal ones, then imported teh usr data file again but the problem is still there.

Rather urgent a all of my customers use paypal on remote sites.

If you can give me an answer, I'll buy another copy right away!!

Many thanks, Andy

Post subject: More problems

Hi now on one of the sites (maybe all, i haven't checked) all the dates on all the accounts have changed themselves to an end date of 2008.This has now booted off the reminaing people who DID actually have airtime left!

I have tried subsequently to amend the data in a specific Dbf dbase file editor (tried it on a copy, just incase) and it can't actually edit the date. I change it in the edit field, but then it reverts back to the orginal, ie, 2008.

Interested to see what you can advise?

Currently I have all servers running on anonymous which isn't great. Also, it doesn't allow me access to the user page to amend peoples accounts whilst on anonymous mode.

Post subject: More info

The paypal payment works at paypal, but at the server, it gets a 'failed' message, not the usual 'pending' which ive had before when ipn have not been returned.

Please post your txn.log under your FirstSpot\log directory.

Also, you might want to check out the credit card troubleshooting article at http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2058

We are looking at your VAT problem.

Regarding database (dbf) edit, please observe the guideline at http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1514 .

It seems FirstSpot (v5 and v6) works fine with VAT (Sales Tax) on. Can you be more specific on your VAT issue?
