Post subject: Firstspot V6 and Proxy-Forwarding

Hello,
i have a question about Firstspot V6.04. I it possible to forward all Traffic to another Proxy (ISP etc.) and not directly to the Internet?

With kind regards.

Yes, with a transparent proxy server. See http://patronsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1083 for details.

Hi,

thank you for your answer, but this is for me an "NoGo".
I cannot install an First-Spot-Server and additionaly a transparent Proxy to redirect the whole Traffic to another Proxy here in this Government. It is also an additional Investment, and i think it must not be.
I will look for another way to redirect the Traffic from the Guest-Clients to the internal Proxy.

Thanks for your help

Kind regards

You can try Squid for Linux as a transparent proxy server. At least the software is free...
