Post subject: Access devices in private network from public network

I am ready to move forward with your software but got held up by one issue.

My topology is scinario 1. Within the private network is a computer that I want to be able to access from a public network (anywhere there is internet) by using VNC software. Is this possible? Public IP is 192.168.5.1 while the private IP is 10.20.7.1

You need to enable either "Allow configuration manager access from Wi-Fi Hotspot" or "Allow configuration manager access from the public network" under Configuration Manager category. Make sure you restart FirstSpot after any change.

Refer to chapter 3 of firstspot_guide.pdf for details.

Both of these are already enabled. Any other possibilities?

I think I did not make myself clear. I am not talking about accessing the computer that has FS. I am talking about another computer that is connected to the private network thru FS.

You need to turn off NAT or use Port Forwarding within FirstSpot.
