A cross cable run from NIC a to a port in the wireless AP with built in router.( PCI model:BLW-04EM). I was able to run the login screen on my laptop (client) but I cannot get to the net. Where has gone wrong?? Help needed.

If you can see the login page, you're nearly there.

Are you able to go to the Internet from the FirstSpot machine?

Please make sure your cable connection is active (ping to the Internet?) before starting FirstSpot.

When you do an ipconfig /all, you should see:

private nic being assigned an ip (which is configured in the Configuration Manager, the default is 10.20.7.1)

public nic assigned an Internet ip address by your cable company

none of the address should contain 0.0.0.0.

Post subject: Time Control

I am now using the trial version of the software, how do i limit the time the user uses the internet. What is the unit. For example "alice" has 100 time left.

If i were to link the system to database. How to I integrate it and what is the procedure?

The timeleft unit is "minute".

For MS-SQL, please refer to the answer to your earlier thread.

For MySQL, please refer to:

It's also highly recommended to have a read in the manual, it contains many useful information.
