Paypal Transaction does not work

I have this message in the logs:

"Failed to verify transaction"

payment_status = Completed
mc_currency = USD (same as paypal acct)
payer_status = unverified

I do not have a "pending" status that would allow to use the feature "treat pending transactions as completed" in the credit card menu...

So I have an item in the shopping cart that buys 5 minutes of access, and the plan says that the account will be suspended if the access minutes are up. Well, after the purchase the access minutes are still 0 because the transaction does not get processed properly. I've seen the sticky in the FAQ but it does not address my problem because i have no "pending" status in the logs anywhere.

What version are you currently using? Note that in the new v7, we don't recommend you use Plan with Shopping Carts. You should use the new Shopping Carts Items instead.

I use the latest V7...

OK, I deleted all the plans now. We did use the shopping cart item in our transaction from the beginning, and it still doesn't work.

If I'm logged in as the user that paid, and I see the "transaction history", it says "Payment Status - Unknown Yet"...

We have 5 minutes of access time in the shopping cart, and the new user has after payment still 0 minutes left (when access minutes are used up). Every other option is unchecked in the shopping cart item...

I don't know what else to do...

mga, it seems that the PayPal IPN has come back to FirstSpot (e.g. Port Forwarding is okay). But the IPN post back verification is incorrect.

We did a test with Sandbox and it is okay. Can you email us at firstspot@patronsoft.com your remote access instruction so that we can take a look your machine directly? Also, please make sure FirstSpot is started and your Port Forwarding (port 5789) is on so that we can access your public IP too.

Actually, we saw some transaction works well already. Go to Configuration -> Credit cards -> click Show Log button, and you should see some successful transaction. Note that you need to keep port 5789 open permanently for the PayPal function within FirstSpot to work.
