Post subject: problem with the exception free websites field

Hi, when i customize the exception free websites field in the Logon Page UI, after you click save, there are a number of slashes added, each time you make a change and click save, a slash is added.

I have copied and pasted here the entries from the field ...

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa Web Site=http://www.drukpa.org\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Drukpa Publications Web Site=http://www.drukpa.com\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Druk Gawa Khilwa Nuns Web Site=http://www.drukpa-nuns.org\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Druk Pema Karpo Clinic Web Site=http://www.drukwhitelotusclinic.org\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"

Why is this happening ?

thanks.

Please remove all the back-slashes and the double quotes. Then, click Save again.

Actually, quotes are not required within each entry as you see from the example in the description shown on the left.

that solved the issue.

Maybe you could change the terminology, as it is a bit misleading for idiots like me. Maybe spell it out that the quotes are not needed ... because when you read through it sort of tells you "in the form' with quotes, but then the example doesn't have quotes.

I though the quotes are needed because the entries I was inputting had spaces in between words, where as the example has no spaces ...

Content of free links
(Input one entry per line and in the form
"display name=URL"
E.g.: PatronSoft=http://www.patronsoft.com)
