Post subject: Redirecting Screen format

When the 'Redirecting please wait screen " is displayed the font is very large and the graphics (Hour glass) are pixilated. How can this be reset to match the format of other messages such as 'Incorrect User Name/password'. I am sure that when I evaluated the product (on an earlier release) the Redirecting page used the same font/size as the login screen.

Thanks. We didn't recall we made major change in the redirect page in FirstSpot v8. Did you happen to customize that page? Is it a new install of FirstSpot?

Also, can you email us at firstspot@patronsoft.com a screenshot to describe what your problem exactly is?

We have achieved what we want by changing the Style.css files for IP, PC and PDA.

the Bacground for Body.redirect was using re_bg.gif and we have changed it to grey_stick.jpg

Also span.reditectspan and span.redirectaddr were using 20pt font and we have changed it to 10 pt.

Visually it is now exactly as we prefer it !!

I assume that if we install any updates these css files might be overwritten and will need to be modified again ?

Yes, we do indeed modify the login page default color in the new v8 (compared to v7 or earlier).

We seldom change these files now (currently on v8.0.14), especially most of the major bugs have been fixed in v8. Still, you might might want to backup your customization. So in case the future upgrade overwrites your files, you need to reapply your customization.
