Post subject: Blackout Period

Hi Alan,

I have noticed that during the blackout period, most of the user interface is still available.

The Login Screen, Password change, create user + more.

Is it possible perhaps in future releases that during the blackout period the DHCP service could be halted and also the user interface to be blocked.

Perhaps this would need more thought so that any functions that NEED to be available are preserved.

I only mention this as if a hacker were trying to analyse the system they are free to do so even thru the blackout period.

As a developer it is handy that I can still test and experiment during the BO period but I would prefer to also restrict myself to working normal hours perhaps. Wink

All else is good.

Hv.

Hi Alan,
Sorry I have put the wrong content in the wrong thread.!!
Ah, it is all sort of related anyway.

Anyway, on the Blackout period topic.

is it possible to bypass the blackout time within the PHP or is it at Exe level.?

I know if the DHCCP service is stopped there is no point but I am thinking for my next customer.

thanks.

Hv.
